Q. I have a pdf document that needs to be filled out. Instead of printing a hard copy and manually filling it, I will like to convert it to an editable format and fill out the soft copy. Need urgent help.

Answer
Due to your situation, I think you should try some PDF to excel converter. This kind of tool could help to reuse the data from PDF file to excel file, and then you can use or edit it easily.
I always need data from the internet, they are always in PDF files. I am using a converter either, it works well.
You can have it a try. May that help:)

I have a pdf of a powerpoint presentation and I need to make some changes, but the person who created the presentation is no longer with my organization and we can't find the original file. Is there any way to convert it back to powerpoint? I'm guessing not, right? Any suggestions on how I can make edits without having to re-make the whole thing?

Thanks very much!

Answer
If you have a PDF Editor, (not just a reader) you can modify the PDF file directly.
If you do not have a PDF editor:
A PDF file is essentially a picture. If you only have minor changes to do, you can use a picture editor by pasting another picture over top of the existing one.
(The site given by VenomX converts TO pdf rather than FROM pdf)

The scenario: Many job applications are in PDF files ready for downloading from employers' sites. I can open and view/print/fax, but I can't write in them to send via email. I can't seem to convert it it to Word and then attach it to the email that way. What do I do?

This should be answered in 1.0 for I'm one of those computer illiterate people.

Answer
You cannot edit PDF files with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. You need Adobe Acrobat Writer, which is not free. It is included in Adobe Acrobat Pro.

or

You can use a free opensource PDF writer software, such as this :
