Q. When I try to open a downloaded pdf file, I get a message of "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired". This occurred on several different sites,not just one. I tried re-installing acrobat but it did not fix the problem. Instead it gave me "error code 12010". How can I fix this?

A. the problem is causing by the PDF file, try to download the PDF file again.
